Letting Go This Fall: A Season of Release
As we move into fall over the next month, we enter a season of letting go, releasing what no longer serves us, just as the trees release their leaves.
My own ultimate release came in 2019, when I was very sick and fear of death was at my door every night. I had no choice but to retire early from my career as a nurse. Looking back, I understand now that this was a healing crisis, one that called me onto my path as a Shamanic Practitioner.
After a series of dreams and visions, and many shamanic classes, I was accepted into the three-year Advanced Initiations in Shamanism and Shamanic Healing program at the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. It was a major commitment and a deeply transformative experience — one that asked me to face hard truths about myself, release the old patterns keeping me stuck, and welcome what wanted to emerge in their place.
This is an ongoing journey. More layers continue to surface and release. But it is a path I wouldn't trade for anything as each release brings a new lightness. I know I'm living my purpose, and I'm honored to pass this heart-felt work on to those who seek it.
As the trees show us this fall, sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is let go. If there are old patterns, fears, or burdens you're ready to release, a shamanic healing session can help you begin that process. This season of release is a beautiful time to start.
If this resonates with you, let’s chat. I’d love to talk about what a session might look like for you.
